Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Storekeeper to manage construction materials, tools, equipment, and stock at a construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for proper receiving, storage, issuing, recording, and accountability of construction materials.

Receive, inspect, and record all construction materials delivered to site.
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
Issue materials and tools based on authorized requisitions.
Monitor stock levels and identify materials requiring replenishment.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.
Maintain an organized, clean, and secure site store.
Monitor material usage and minimize loss, damage, and wastage.
Prepare stock and inventory reports.
Work closely with the Site Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate or Diploma in Construction, Building & Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is a MUST.
1–2 years of relevant experience in construction stores or as a Construction Storekeeper is required.
Experience handling construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Good understanding of stock control and inventory management.
Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a busy construction-site environment.
Honesty, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.
