Construction Steel Structure Supervisor

About the Role Construction Steel Structure Supervisor will direct site construction activities for a large petrochemical expansion project in Jubail. Ensures erection works align with schedules, project documents, budgets, and safety/quality standards, coordinating with subcontractors on a complex multi-package scope. May supervise one or more assistants. What You'll Do

• Check supplier material and technical documentation delivery schedule before works and ensure alignment with construction schedules and contractual commitments.
• Review and approve Method Statements submitted by Subcontractors and ensure correct field application.
• Ensure implementation of HSE procedures and participate in Site HSE activities as defined in the Site HSE plan.
• Monitor schedule adherence and promote action to recover delays.
• Verify subcontractor equipment and manpower are adequate and that works conform to design documents, safety regulations, and required quality.
• Perform inspections and sign certificates per Site Inspection Plans.
• Prepare non-conformity register for each Subcontractor and coordinate non-conformity resolution.
• Detect design errors and, where possible, rectify or request Site Engineer changes.
• Check Subcontractors’ progress status sheets and approve.
• Manage vendor specialists.
• Assist Contract Manager/Engineer in defining new prices, preparing amendments to subcontracts, and analyzing and discussing claims. What We're Looking For
• University degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.
• Experience in a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working on the Contractor side.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, management skills.
• Team-oriented, self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution. Compensation & Benefits
