Job title: Construction Site Supervisor
About the Role The Construction Site Supervisor will direct, manage, and coordinate the work of multiple trades on the project site to ensure compliance with contract requirements and scheduled milestones. They will implement and oversee the project safety program and ensure adherence to safety regulations and building codes.
What You'll Do
- Direct, manage, supervise and coordinate on-site activities of various trade groups to meet contract requirements and timelines.
- Implement and manage the project safety program, enforce safety regulations, and coordinate training including daily safety meetings and Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) with in-house staff and subcontractors.
- Plan, organize, monitor, and inspect work to maintain project schedule; assist in developing pay estimates and 3-week look-ahead schedules.
- Prepare takesoffs or assist project engineer with material requirements; ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Define subcontract scopes and verify subcontractor presence and progress per schedule.
- Ensure work interfaces between trades do not cause conflicts; inspect workmanship for conformance with plans and specs.
- Plan and conduct weekly progress meetings and assist with Quality Control preparatory inspections; support safety audits.
- Assist with project estimates, bid packages, schedule development and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with 29 CFR 1926 and USACE EM 385-1-1; conduct regular site inspections and safety audits; proficiency in accident reporting and root cause investigations.

What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum seven years' supervisory construction experience.
- Minimum five years of Construction Safety Training; 24 hours of safety training every four years.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- 30-hour OSHA certification.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clear record.
- Experience with Federal DOD Government contracting.
- Familiar with EM 385-1-1 and completed a 40-hour EM 385-1-1 certification.
- Knowledge of building codes and occupational safety and health regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
- Knowledge of acceptable construction site practices and related codes/regulations.
Nice to Have
- Construction-related degree.
- Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certificate.
- Contractors Quality Control Certificate (Corps of Engineers or NAVFAC).
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Competent person training in scaffolding, excavation, fall protection, confined spaces, etc.
- Knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
