Job title: Construction Site Planner

About the Role To lead and coordinate site planning activities for EPC Oil & Gas projects, ensuring alignment between construction execution and project controls. The Site Planner will act as a key interface between site operations, project controls, and central planning teams to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable planning data.

What You'll Do

  • Develop the Construction Schedule within the period established in the Project Schedule.
  • Prepare the standard man-hour estimates based on the design quantities and the established WBS.
  • Feed Schedule with estimated standard Manhours to obtain the Progress Curves and Manpower Histograms.
  • Ensure that the schedules developed by the Subcontractors, as per their contractual obligations, are in alignment with the Level 4 Construction Schedule.
  • Perform schedule control at the cut-off dates and provide a forecast on completion dates especially if any adverse trends occur so that the recovery plan can be effectively enforced.
  • Assess physical progress at the cut-off dates, taking note of any evidence of deviations from the baseline and suggesting the remedial actions, if any.
  • Perform manpower control by collecting time sheets from the Subcontractors and compare the actual manpower against the planned, as per the baseline.
  • Prepare the weekly/monthly Progress Report related to the Site activities in accordance with the Project Procedures.
  • Collaborate with the central Project Controls team to ensure site planning data feeds into overall project performance metrics.
  • Track progress against baseline schedules and identify deviations, delays, and recovery strategies.
  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) by providing accurate site progress data and forecasts.
  • Assist in resource loading and manpower histograms to support cost and schedule analysis.
  • Participate in risk reviews and mitigation planning from a site execution perspective.

What We're Looking For

  • University Degree or Diploma in Civil discipline or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or xl gas plants.
  • Experience working on the Contractor side.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience on 2-3 projects of comparable size.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Attention to detail, management skills, team-oriented and self-motivated with direction and a bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
