Job title: Construction Quality Inspector - E&I
About the Role The Construction Quality Inspector (E&I) will ensure that all quality procedures and standards are implemented on the Harvest 4346 UAE project. They perform inspections of subcontractor activities, verify conformance to project specifications, site procedures, and the Site Inspection Plan, and report to the Construction Manager.
What You'll Do
- Ensure implementation of Quality/HSE procedures for subcontracted activities, in coordination with Quality/HSE teams
- Support Construction Material Controller in supplier material checks prior to works
- Review subcontractor works for discipline alignment with engineering specs, site procedures, and inspection plans; coordinate with Quality/HSE
- Verify subcontractor manpower and equipment compliance, calibration
- Confirm works conform to applicable documents and safety regulations; inform Site Engineer to correct design errors; promote non-conformity reports; assist Construction Manager in resolution
- Manage Inspection Requests from Subcontractors; inform Client; assume responsibility for any client rejections and arrange remedial actions to prevent recurrence
What We're Looking For
- University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent
- Significant experience in industrial construction of large or XL gas plants; at least 2–3 projects of comparable size
- 12-15 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communications, attention to detail, interpersonal skills; team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to drive timely performance and problem resolution
