About the Role The Construction Quality Inspector ensures Construction Quality compliance according to Customer & Internal specifications. You will inspect parts, products, and installations and support the Improvement of the Zero Defect Program, reporting defects and ensuring product compliance (including after rework), with emphasis on Special Processes. What You'll Do
- Support Depot equipment/Wayside equipment (Passenger Safety Doors, AFC, Traffic Priority) Quality Manager in your scope
- Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework) according to PICO Quality Installation Procedure
- Record inspection results in required digital tools
- Manage NCR: support Quality team to complete characterization until closure using problem-solving methodology
- Qualify construction teams regarding Self-Inspection
- Manage Construction Inspection Checklists
- Perform destructive & non-destructive examination
- Ensure collection of samples for laboratory tests and comparative measurements
- Track performance: Punch List Item Reduction, inspection time adherence, Self-Inspection effectiveness, proper defect characterization (e.g. Defect catalogue, 5W2H, Acceptance criteria)
- Manage rework (Validation included) What We're Looking For
- Educational Requirements: Mandatory: Associates degree, technical major preferred; Must be able to read drawings / specifications; familiar with a variety of test equipment; Quality Processes knowledge for civil/railway construction
- Experience: Mandatory: 2+ years quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry including using of digital tool
- Desirable: International mindset & Fluent in English
- Competencies & Skills: Rigor & communication; Experience in installation/construction activities, in documentation management & collaboration and team working Nice to Have
- Railway experience is a plus
