Summary: Manages the delivery of Microsoft data center construction and retrofit projects, overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement, vendors, contractors, risks, and safety compliance. Works with engineering, operations, legal, project controls, and construction partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Microsoft standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and procurement.
- Coordinate architects, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, risks, costs, and performance.
- Review engineering designs and construction plans.
- Drive safety, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Manage vendor selection, contracts, invoices, and performance.
- Support delivery of new and retrofit data center facilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years relevant experience.
- Preferred: 7+ years data center experience, utility/lease experience, PMP/PgMP, or Agile certifications.
Work: Fully on-site | Travel
