About this role

About the Role You’ll act as an advisor and extension of staff for the airport while liaising and coordinating with airport staff, contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, consultants, stakeholders, and other airport personnel. You’ll assist airports in formulating and implementing their capital program by understanding the challenges and unique operational characteristics of the airport environment. What You'll Do

  • Act as an advisor and extension of staff for the airport, coordinating with airport personnel, contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, consultants, stakeholders, and other airport staff.
  • Assist airports in formulating and implementing their capital program by understanding operational challenges.
  • Manage coordination of multiple projects in preconstruction and construction; oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects and engage stakeholders as required.
  • Work proactively with the contractor, client, and program team—including other consultants—to identify construction interfaces, assess risks, and mitigate potential threats during project execution.
  • Collaborate with all airport stakeholders, including airlines, tenants, executives, and municipal officials.
  • Assess contractors’ schedules, change orders, and RFIs in coordination with other consultants and the client.
  • Adhere to client and Accenture delivery standards.
  • Execute and deliver projects within budget and schedule.
  • Demonstrate excellent people-management and communication skills with all levels of staff, including executives, through clear discussions and presentations.
  • Build and maintain exceptional relationships at all levels within the organization and with clients.
  • Lead and work effectively in a team environment or operate independently when needed.
  • Lead others or self-start as required to keep work moving forward.
  • Take initiative and make sound, well-reasoned decisions.
  • Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and changing needs.
  • Perform other job-related duties or projects as assigned.
  • Flexible work location with travel monthly and potential relocation to the west coast. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field; 10-15+ years of experience.
  • Preferred: PE license, PMP, CCM and/or AIA certification.
  • Experience in Airport terminal design and construction.
  • Fundamental knowledge of aviation, airport operations and airline management.
  • Experience in Construction Administration, Construction Management and Program/Project Management.
  • Thorough knowledge of architecture/engineering practice with emphasis on design, construction methods, value engineering, high-level planning, systems integration, building costs/codes, commissioning, and advisory services.
  • Significant experience with Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) delivery method.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders involved in planning, design, and construction of airport facilities.
  • Broad knowledge of disciplines used during construction and methods for installation and operation.
  • Ability to interpret and utilize schedule information, performance metrics, and financial data.
  • Experience with Project Controls software. Nice to Have
  • PE license, PMP, CCM and/or AIA certification (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $210,000 - $300,000 per year. Compensation varies by location, role, experience, and other factors. Accenture provides a reasonable compensation range where required by law.
