About the Role The Construction Mechanical Supervisor (Piping) will oversee GCC activities for the piping discipline on a refinery EPC project in Concón, Chile. The role ensures construction work aligns with schedules, budgets, and project documentation, while meeting safety and quality standards. What You'll Do
- Check VENDOR material and technical documentation against construction schedules and contractual commitments; verify alignment with project documents.
- Control and approve Method Statements submitted by GCC and ensure correct field application.
- Monitor schedule updates and drive recovery actions for delays.
- Confirm equipment and manpower are adequate; ensure works conform to design, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Detect design errors and request changes or DIEs as needed.
- Review GCC progress status sheets and sign off for approval.
- Manage VENDOR specialists. What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in oil & gas, industrial sectors, EPC projects and refineries.
- At least 3 years in this discipline.
- Experience in similar roles on the last three projects of comparable size.
- Native Spanish speaker.
- Excellent IT and analytical skills; strong communication, team-oriented and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail; self-motivated with a bias toward timely performance and problem resolution. Nice to Have
