Job title: Construction Mechanical Superintendent
About the Role The Construction Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for the coordination of Mechanical Construction for Rotating Equipment activities through the Construction Rotating Equipment Supervisors. He has direct responsibility for the management of Mechanical Subcontractors for Rotating Equipment, ensuring their performance meets schedule, quality and cost, and coordinating recovery actions under the guidance of the Construction Manager. He ensures the implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities under his responsibilities and directly participates in HSE activities at site as defined in the Site HSE plan and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate Mechanical Construction for Rotating Equipment activities through the Construction Rotating Equipment Supervisors
- Manage Mechanical Subcontractors for Rotating Equipment, ensuring performance against schedule, quality and cost, and drive recovery actions when deviations occur, under the Construction Manager
- Ensure implementation of HSE procedures and standards for subcontractor areas of responsibility
- Actively participate in site HSE activities as defined in the Site HSE plan and related procedures
What We're Looking For
- University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role on projects of comparable size
- Fluent English
- Excellent IT and analytical skills
- Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
