Job title: Construction Mechanical Machinery Supervisor

About the Role Tecnimont and Tecnimont Arabia Limited have been awarded two lump-sum turn-key EPC contracts related to a petrochemical expansion at the SATORP Refinery (a JV composed of Saudi Aramco and Total Energies), in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Construction Mechanical Machinery Supervisor will oversee Subcontractor activities for the mechanical scope, ensuring that plant construction works are performed according to erection schedules, project documents, budget, and Quality & Safety procedures, over the project duration of approximately 4 years. Each Supervisor reports to the Construction Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Before start of works, check the Supplier’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule and its alignment with Construction schedules and contractual commitments.
  • Prior to the start of works, control and approve the Method Statements submitted by Subcontractors and ensure their correct application on the field.
  • Ensure the implementation of all HSE procedures and standards for areas/activities under responsibilities, and participate in site HSE activities as defined in the Site HSE plan.
  • Verify that equipment and manpower employed by Subcontractors are adequate and that works conform to design documents, safety regulations, and quality levels.
  • Perform inspections and sign the necessary certificates as per Site Inspection Plans.
  • Prepare non-conformity registers for each Subcontractor and coordinate nonconformity resolution.
  • Detect design errors and, where possible, rectify them or coordinate with Site Engineer for changes.
  • Check Subcontractors’ progress status sheets and sign them for approval.
  • Manage vendor specialists.
  • Assist the Contract Manager/Engineer in defining new prices, preparing amendments to subcontracts, and in analyzing and discussing claims.
  • Direct Subcontractor activities for own discipline and ensure that Plant Construction works follow erection schedules and project documents, within budget and Safety/Quality requirements. One or more assistants may support you.

What We're Looking For

  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar discipline, with experience on projects of comparable size and on the contractor side.
  • Significant experience in a similar position.
  • Fluent English.
  • Excellent IT and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.

  • Contractual role in Saudi Arabia with long-term assignment (01/08/2026 - 31/07/2027).
