Job title: Construction Material Assistant
About the Role Provide on-site support to oversee material flow and logistics, ensuring proper handling, tracking, and distribution of materials to project teams. Utilize internal systems to monitor inventory and assess material usage, and contribute to decision-making by evaluating material availability and managing surplus items for reuse or resale.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Material Controller for material management at Site.
- Receive, check, store and preserve the materials delivered at Site.
- Consign materials to Subcontractors, according to the instructions given by the Material Controller.
- Keep records about the handling of materials, using the Company software systems.
- Perform feasibility analysis by the Company software system.
- Maintain the inventory of unused material for sale.
What We're Looking For
- University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent; At least 2 years of experience in this specific discipline.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, management skills.
- Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
