Construction Manager

About the Role The Construction Manager reports to the Site Manager and coordinates all Discipline Supervisors to manage Subcontractor activities on the EPCm Electrolyzer Project. They develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, optimize sequences, and cover for the Site Manager in their absence. What You'll Do

• Ensure the implementation of the HSE management system at site with reference to their area of operation.
• Organize and lead weekly meetings with discipline Subcontractors, in coordination with AST and Supervisors.
• Participate in construction meetings with the Client.
• Promote field revisions of the detailed Construction Schedule and verify congruity with technical specifications.
• Verify material delivery schedules to coordinate construction activities and optimize the schedule.
• Collaborate with Site Control Manager to prepare detailed schedules and define priorities; monitor adherence and implement recovery plans if delays occur.
• Coordinate all site activities and interfaces between Disciplines to limit work overlaps.
• Assist Supervisors in subcontract management, changes, extra-works, and execution of changes.
• With the Commissioning Manager, ensure congruence between Construction completion and Plant Pre-commissioning.
• Collaborate with Contract Engineer on changes and claims.
• Prepare own section of routine work progress reports.
• Perform discipline quality inspections per the Inspection Plan in liaison with the QAE. What We're Looking For
• University degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of large Petrochemical plants/EPC projects; strong subcontractors and construction/commissioning management experience in EPC projects, large/XL plants.
• Similar role in projects of comparable size; experience working on Contractor side.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; team-oriented, self-motivated with a bias toward timely performance and problem resolution. Compensation & Benefits
