Construction Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Construction Manager to coordinate discipline Supervisors and Subcontractors on the Silleno project in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. The role reports to the Site Manager and involves developing detailed construction schedules, ensuring HSE compliance, and aligning construction with commissioning activities. What You'll Do

• Ensure implementation of the HSE management system on site within the assigned area.

• Organize and lead weekly meetings with discipline Subcontractors alongside AST and Supervisors; participate in client construction meetings.

• Promote field revisions of the detailed Construction Schedule and verify conformance with technical specifications.

• Verify material delivery and coordinate construction activities to optimize the schedule; prepare detailed schedules with Site Control Manager and define priorities.

• Monitor schedules, implement recovery plans for delays, and coordinate interfacing activities to minimize overlaps.

• Assist Supervisors in subcontract management, change/extra-works and coordination of changes; ensure congruence between construction completion and plant pre-commissioning with Commissioning Manager.

• Collaborate with Contract Engineer on changes and claims; prepare routine work progress reports; perform discipline quality inspections per the Inspection Plan with QAE. What We're Looking For

• University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline; relevant experience in large Petrochemical EPC projects or plant modernization.

• Strong subcontractor and construction/commissioning management experience in EPC projects; experience on Contractor side; similar roles on large/XL plants.

• Fluent English; excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented; self-motivated with a bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
