Job title: Construction Manager / Owner's Representative – Wastewater Infrastructure
About the Role SEYSES is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to act as Owner's Representative for wastewater infrastructure projects in the United States. You will oversee construction activities, monitor contractor performance, ensure quality and safety standards, and provide technical reporting to the client. This is a project-based, travel-intensive role with opportunities across the U.S.
What You'll Do
- Supervise civil construction works related to wastewater infrastructure.
- Monitor installation of underground utilities and sewer pipelines.
- Oversee contractor activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors and engineering teams.
- Review construction progress, quality and safety performance.
- Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Identify technical issues and support their resolution.
- Ensure project documentation is properly maintained.
- Representative project scope includes: Installation of approximately 6,500 linear feet of 10-inch PVC SDR35 sanitary sewer main; Decommissioning of two wastewater lift stations; Decommissioning of a neighborhood wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).
What We're Looking For
- Required experience as Construction Manager, Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Owner's Representative.
- Prior experience supervising civil construction projects.
- Knowledge of underground utilities, sewer systems or water/wastewater infrastructure.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the United States.
Nice to Have
- Experience with wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), lift stations or municipal utility projects.
- Experience with PVC sewer main installation.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Valid U.S. work authorization or visa allowing employment in the United States. Applicants requiring visa sponsorship may also be considered for future opportunities depending on project requirements.
