Job title: Construction Manager
About the Role As Construction Manager at Kerry's production site in Tiel, you are responsible for the preparation, coordination and supervision of construction- and project-related work within the factory. You ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution and act as a key link between internal departments and external contractors. With your communication skills, technical knowledge and safety focus you ensure work proceeds smoothly with minimal impact on production.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and prepare construction and installation projects on site.
- Align with production, engineering, maintenance, Quality and HSE.
- Review technical drawings, risk analyses and work permits.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE and hygiene regulations; lead toolbox talks and permit procedures; foster proactive safety culture among employees and contractors.
- Daily coordination of contractors and external parties.
- Monitor progress, quality, costs and schedule.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to minimize downtime.
- Document activities, inspections and quality checks.
- Deliver projects including handover to operations and maintenance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and project standards.
What We're Looking For
- MBO+/HBO in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering or similar.
- Experience with construction work and project coordination within production/manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of HSE, work permits and contractor management.
- Communicative, stress-resistant and good at stakeholder management.
- Accurate, structured and safety-conscious.
