About the Role An experienced Construction lawyer at the Associate, Senior Associate, or Director level is sought to join the Birmingham team. The role covers both contentious and non-contentious Construction & Engineering work, with opportunities to work across a range of contract forms and to engage in business development within a collaborative, close-knit environment. What You'll Do
- Work on a varied workload across construction and engineering projects, with direct client contact.
- Advise on standard UK contracts including NEC4, JCT, and Model Forms, as well as international forms such as FIDIC and IChemE; contribute to bespoke turnkey contracts.
- Conduct or support dispute resolution activities including litigation, arbitration (including international), dispute boards, adjudication, and ADR.
- Collaborate with a high-performing, collaborative team; contribute to client service excellence and business development.
- Demonstrate a commercial, proactive approach with strong people skills and a team-first mindset. What We're Looking For
- Solid background in Construction & Engineering law, across contentious or non-contentious, or a mix.
- Experience with UK contract forms (NEC4, JCT) and international forms; ability to advise from project inception to execution and help resolve issues.
- Strong client-facing, communication, and interpersonal skills; proactive, commercially minded; ability to work as part of a team; interest in business development.
- Based in Birmingham or willing to operate from Birmingham office; flexible working options may be available. Compensation & Benefits
