About the Role The Construction Inspector will conduct daily inspections across building and terminal projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and project specifications. Based in Los Angeles and onsite with Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you’ll help deliver safer, smarter, and more sustainable infrastructure for airports and public facilities. What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive daily inspections across building and terminal construction projects to ensure compliance with codes and project specifications, review and interpret construction documents (blueprints, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, change orders).
  • Prepare comprehensive daily inspection reports that document the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and HOW of observed activities with accuracy and clarity.
  • Verify contractor compliance with local jurisdiction requirements, building codes, and LAWA-specific standards.
  • Support special inspections and testing activities, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and third-party agencies as needed.
  • Track and document time-and-material work, field changes, and job quantities.
  • Assist in validating contractor progress payment requests based on an approved schedule of values.
  • Perform inspections related to building construction including: Clearing, grubbing & demolition; Excavations, trenching & shoring; Grade & elevation survey; Structural backfill & compaction; Structural & nonstructural concrete; Formwork, footings & micro piles; Sewer & storm drain inspection; Metal stud framing & drywall; Doors & hardware; T bar ceilings & fire rated components.
  • Onsite at client site with potential shifts (day, swing, night) to enable delivery and client relationship cultivation. What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of five years of experience performing inspections.
  • 30-hour Cal-OSHA training completed within the last 4 years.
  • Knowledge of LA City Building codes and ADA requirements.
  • Experience inspecting demolition and construction of buildings from start to finish.
  • Strong ability to inspect large-scale airport and public building facilities, including steel and concrete structures and architectural finishes, ensuring conformance with safety regulations and project documents. Nice to Have
  • ICC certifications and Deputy Inspector Licenses are preferred but not required. Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $145,000 - $160,000 per year (USD).
  • Compensation varies by location, role, experience, and other factors.
  • On-site work with clients and partners; potential for various shifts.
