About this role

About the Role Join Technimont as a Construction HSE Manager to lead on-site HSE activities for UAE projects. You will support and monitor the implementation of the MAIRE group HSE Policy and HSE Management System on site, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement across construction activities. What You'll Do

  • Support and monitor the implementation of the MAIRE group HSE Policy and HSE Management System at site.
  • Perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures, preparing revisions as required.
  • Update HSE documentation during all construction phases when deemed necessary.
  • Ensure Subcontractors perform activities in line with HSE procedures, regulations, and standards; promote corrective actions as needed.
  • Organize, plan, and participate in periodic HSE walkarounds, inspections, and audits; prepare reports, action plans, follow up on corrective actions.
  • Organize and coordinate HSE Training on site; organize and participate in all relevant site HSE Meetings.
  • Cooperate with Client regarding work permits; organize a full investigation of accidents to identify corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Keep accident records and identify areas for prevention; promote ongoing training of personnel.
  • Lead and coordinate the Site HSE Committee and the site emergency response and fire prevention/fighting teams, including training and drills.
  • Prepare the site HSE section of construction monthly progress reports and other periodical reports.
  • Prepare and update Site HSE Statistics; monitor performance versus Project and corporate HSE Objectives and targets; propose recovery plans if needed. What We're Looking For
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (GC) or International General Certificate (IGC); Diploma in Safety/HSE.
  • Additional HSE certifications; Lead Auditor Certification in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (preferred).
  • Experience: 12-15 years in HSE roles, with at least 5 years managing and implementing HSE and welfare standards within oil and gas; at least 2 years as an HSE Manager.
  • For complex/smaller projects, flexibility in experience requirements may apply.
  • Fluent English; strong IT and analytical skills; proven team leadership of HSE professionals.
  • Deep knowledge of HSE Management Systems and regulatory requirements; risk assessments and audit processes; PTW systems and gas testing; H2S awareness; incident/root-cause analysis; Emergency Response Procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication; strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse teams. Nice to Have
  • Lead Auditor Certification in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or equivalent.
  • Additional HSE training (OSHA, IOSH, etc.). Compensation & Benefits
