About the Role Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, is seeking a Construction Equipment Shop Technician. This role performs diagnosis, repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and requires strong customer communication and problem-solving skills. The technician will operate and service earthmoving and construction equipment at on-site locations in State College or Howard, PA. What You'll Do
- Independently diagnose and repair equipment
- Operate and maintain all types of earthmoving and construction equipment
- Perform servicing and preventive maintenance on machinery
- Apply knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics, and welding
- Utilize intermediate computer skills for diagnostics and documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Maintain safety and quality standards in an industrial environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs What We're Looking For
- Technical school graduate or relevant experience
- Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics, welding
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Intermediate computer and communication skills
- Good human relations and customer communication abilities Compensation & Benefits
