About the Role The project entails expanding the Hamburg Refinery by adding new process units and facilities including HVO and pretreatment units, tank farm modifications, interconnecting lines, a new electrical substation and rack room, and interconnections between the new substation building and the existing substation and control room. As Construction Electrical Supervisor (ELS), you will report to the Construction Manager and lead Subcontractor electrical activities to ensure Plant Construction works are performed in line with erection schedules, project documents, the assigned cost budget, and Quality & Safety procedures, as well as the subcontract terms. What You'll Do
- Prior to the start of works, check the Supplier's material and technical documentation delivery schedule and ensure alignment with construction schedules and contractual commitments.
- Monitor that the schedule is kept to, and promote action to recover any delay.
- Verify that the Subcontractor equipment and manpower are adequate and that the works conform to design documents, safety regulations, and the required quality level.
- Prepare the non-conformity register for each Subcontractor and coordinate non-conformity resolution.
- Detect design errors and, where possible, rectify them or request the Site Engineer to implement changes.
- Check Subcontractors' work progress status sheets and sign them for approval.
- Manage vendor specialists.
- Assist the Contract Engineer in defining new prices, in preparing amendments to subcontracts and in analysing and discussing claims. What We're Looking For
- University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
- Experience: Similar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size; Proven past experience on electrical supervision activities; At least 5 years of experience in the specific discipline; Experience working on Contractor side.
- Strong knowledge of SPMAT (Marian).
- Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of industrial/Refinery sector/EPC projects large plants.
- Skills: Fluent English; Excellent IT and analytical skills; Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills; Attention to details; Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution. Compensation & Benefits
- For this position, the starting gross annual salary, paid for monthly installments, will be no less than €65,000 plus benefits. The overall compensation package will be governed by company policies and applicable agreements, including any provisions related to benefits and variable components in compliance with the Group standards.
