About the Role Guidehouse is seeking a Construction Cost Estimator to support related construction, design/build, and architecture and engineering projects. The role involves reviewing technical requirements, drawings, plans, and materials to develop detailed cost estimates, tracking actual costs against contract awards, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to improve value for clients. This position may involve additional related assignments beyond the baseline responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Review technical requirements, drawings, plans, and materials to prepare detailed cost estimates for clients.
- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services and track actual costs relative to contract award costs as the project develops.
- Recommend solutions to improve cost effectiveness, gain efficiencies, and save money.
- Support related assignments beyond the listed baseline as needed.
