Job title: Connectivity Test Engineer

About the Role You will join a dedicated DXC Luxoft team embedded within the client's connectivity testing department to verify the TCAM cellular modem behavior across simulated network conditions representing 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G. The work is structured as an increment commitment with quarterly feature delivery; onboarding in October 2026 and a project timeline through 31 December 2028.

What You'll Do

• Verify TCAM cellular modem behavior (TCAM 1.1, 2, 3, 4) in simulated network conditions.
• Test voice, SMS, and data services over GSM, 3G, LTE, and 5G; validate eCall, legal eCall, and next-generation eCall functionality.
• Test DualAPN logic for multiple markets (HU, RO, SK, IS, GR); validate VoLTE/VoNR, IMS Registration, and circuit-switched voice behavior.
• Test network reject codes and modem recovery; verify eCall-only mode per country-specific regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases using Robot Framework and Python; migrate tests to TCAM2 and extend coverage to TCAM3/TCAM4.
• Maintain CI/CD pipeline (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins) and keep it green; integrate results into CarWeaver verification verdict system.
• Operate simulator hardware (Keysight Anite 9000 SAS, Keysight UXM E7515A, R&S CMW/CMX500) and develop Python-based simulator services; ensure availability for the test team.
• Act as SME during TCAM/mobile network troubleshooting; review planned TCAM implementations; contribute to pre-certification testing with MNOs.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for test automation; Python scripting for test frameworks and data processing.
• Solid understanding of GSM, 3G, LTE, 5G; knowledge of NAS signaling, EMM, IMS, VoLTE.
• CI/CD experience (Git, Gerrit or similar, Jenkins); ability to read 3GPP specifications.
• Experience with defect tracking and Jira; comfortable with Linux-based toolchains and command-line.
• Direct experience with Keysight Anite 9000, Keysight UXM E7515A, or R&S CMW/CMX500 is highly desirable.
• English language level: C1 Advanced.
• Previous experience in automotive telematics or connected car platforms is desirable.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with eCall standards (EN 16072, 3GPP TS 26.267).
• MQTT-based service communication; knowledge of CarWeaver or similar verification verdict management tools.
• Prior OEM or Tier-1 automotive supplier environment experience; modem configuration and market adaptation testing.
