Conference and Events Coordinator
Nestled near Bowral in the NSW Southern Highlands (an hour and a half south of Sydney CBD) you will find Peppers Craigieburn. As the Conference & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in bringing events to life. Collaborating closely with our centralised C&E team, you will create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), liaise with clients, and ensure seamless execution by working directly with the Food and Beverage team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to understand event goals, create event plans, and keep everything on track with budgets and schedules
- Execution of conferencing and events including weddings
- Proactively address and resolve any issues that may arise during the event, striving for perfection
- Coordinate logistics, including equipment, contractors, resources, and personnel involved in and supporting the event
- Maintain a polished and professional image as a representative of our company, ensuring a consistently high standard of service
- Flexibility to assist with service in Food & Beverage departments during quieter periods
Skills & Experience
- Experience in coordinating events and weddings, along with strong client relationship management, is highly desirable
- Strong administrative skills and meticulous attention to detail is essential
- Skilled in collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and clients to negotiate favourable terms that benefit all parties involved
- You foster a can – do approach with exceptional time management skills
- Flexible availability to accommodate various events and shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
