About this role
A private family in Abu Dhabi is seeking a UK & European-trained Concierge Physician for confidential, permanent clinical coverage. The concierge physician will be assessed on judgement as well as technique, delivered inside the family's own home. On international trips and extended European stays, care follows them without a change of clinician. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. We introduce, we verify, and then we step back; you then contract directly with the family, who employ you.
Requirements
- The shortlist starts with a medical degree and current registration as a family medicine physician (GP), confirmed with the registering body. The concierge physician should have 3 years of clinical work to draw on, where decisions had to be made independently. Candidates for this concierge physician position come from UK or European training programmes, with each qualification assessed document by document. Discretion about the family is non-negotiable, and you must be able to write clear clinical assessment notes in English. Readiness to work away from home for weeks at a time is required, and we ask about this at the first assessment.
Benefits
- The salary is £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, gross, paid on a permanent footing. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The concierge physician lives within the family's residence: the role is live-in and single-status. Leave is built into the concierge physician appointment, for a role that rewards long service. The family signs with you directly, reviewed by you before you sign. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
