About this role
A private family based in Dubai requires a UK & European-trained Concierge Physician for a permanent, live-in position. The family wants steady independent judgement and an unfailing sense of routine. At the start of every European season, you travel alongside them, so care stays steady through every move. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. You sign with the family directly, once our verification of your registration is complete.
Requirements
- You hold a medical degree and current registration as a family medicine physician (GP) within a UK or European system. A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical work to build lasting trust with a family. Training and licensing must sit within a UK or European system for this concierge physician post; this is checked before any introduction. Strong English and discretion backed by an NDA are prerequisites for the role. Composure, calm authority and the ability to blend into daily routine are vital. We look for someone who is willing to join European and international trips when the family's plans change.
Benefits
- The salary is £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, gross, for a long-term appointment, based in Dubai. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Your concierge physician appointment includes, at the family's cost, private accommodation within the family's residence and flights. Paid leave, flights home and contract security are all provided by the family. Your contract is with the family directly, following our introduction and checks on your credentials and references.
