A private family in Abu Dhabi has opened a permanent concierge physician post. When the family moves to Lake Como for the season, you move with them, and clinical cover carries on, mostly under your own judgement. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. Registration, references and training history are checked by us first, which matters most when the post carries unsupervised responsibility. Requirements

• The post requires a registered family medicine physician (GP) with UK or European credentials, able to hold autonomous decision-making. 2 years or more of qualified clinical experience are expected, preferably in private rather than institutional settings. We consider concierge physicians trained and registered in the UK or Europe only, and that standard applies to every candidate we introduce. English must be fluent enough for clinical handovers and family conversations; strict confidentiality is part of the appointment. Benefits

• The gross package for this concierge physician post is £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, which recognises the weight of sole responsibility. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The family provides your accommodation within its residence in Abu Dhabi, so you can focus on day-to-day medicine. Flights home are provided by the family, scheduled around the family's own movements.
