About this role
A private family in Doha has opened a permanent concierge physician post, with your own judgement from the first day. The mandate suits a concierge physician who is calm when the decision is theirs alone, in a private setting. Travel is part of the role, with Lake Como on the family's regular route and clinical cover uninterrupted, without a handover to anyone else. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. We verify each concierge physician's registration, references and training before any introduction, leaving the family free to judge fit.
Requirements
- Applicants must be registered family medicine physicians (GPs) from the UK or European systems, with no restrictions on practice. A record of 5 or more years in practice is needed, enough to carry unsupervised responsibility. Eligibility rests on UK or European training and a current registration. Excellent spoken and written English is expected, since you will often act without anyone to consult under every circumstance a concierge physician meets. We verify each concierge physician's registration, references and training before any introduction, because a long-term family appointment leaves little room for doubt.
Benefits
- The post pays £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, entirely gross, set for a long-term family appointment in Doha. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Accommodation within the residence is arranged and paid for by the family, so you can focus on day-to-day medicine. Contracts are issued by the family, not by an agency, with sole charge defined on paper. Time off and travel home are part of the agreement, which keeps a long-term concierge physician post sustainable. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
