About this role
A private family in Abu Dhabi is appointing a permanent Concierge Physician, UK or European-trained, to lead resident care. Whenever the household moves between Abu Dhabi and its European residences, the concierge physician goes with them, so the daily routine of care stays unbroken. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. You sign with the family and no one else, following our introduction and checks on your credentials and references.
Requirements
- We require a recognised family medicine (GP) qualification with unrestricted registration from a UK or European body. At least 5 years of unsupervised clinical experience. We shortlist only those trained and registered in the UK or Europe, whatever the city of the appointment. Fluent English and a signed NDA are part of the trust the family places in you. Composure, sound judgement and a trusted presence at home are required. The family expects you to be prepared to move at short notice and hold a valid passport.
Benefits
- You receive £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, gross, structured for lasting tenure, reflecting the seniority of a concierge physician. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The family arranges and pays for private accommodation within its residence, and flights. Annual leave on full pay, travel home each year and a stable, settled routine come with the appointment. Your contract is with the family personally, with terms discussed openly before you decide. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
