About the Role The Concierge at American Cancer Society serves as the first point of contact for guests, manages front desk operations, and ensures a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. This role supports guest check-in/out, responds to inquiries, and coordinates transportation and security to help guests and staff have a smooth experience.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures
- Provide information about lodge amenities and community resources
- Coordinate transportation and EMPOWER Program services and schedules
- Respond to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies
- Maintain an organized front desk area and accurate guest records
- Monitor lobby security and implement safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service is a plus
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
Nice to Have
- Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service is a plus
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or related field is preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $18.59 per hour
