About the Role Volt is hiring a Computer Repair Technician in Jeffersonville, IN to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment and devices, ensuring quality workmanship and excellent customer service. This full-time role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, or electronic equipment, performing regular maintenance, and staying up-to-date on repair techniques and technologies. What You'll Do
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, or electronic equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
- Document repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Order and replace defective parts as necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest repair techniques and technologies. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a repair technician or in a related field.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
