About the Role The Computer Consultant I in Information Technology Services (ITS) provides IT support to users across university departments and divisions. IT support roles include desktop, laptop, mobile device, printer, and application support, and the role also assesses and makes recommendations for procurement of technology equipment for staff. The position works collaboratively with staff on IT projects as assigned. What You'll Do
- Use computing concepts, documented procedures, and knowledge of SU’s systems to address a wide variety of IT support requests, including general hardware and software break/fix and hardware and software installation.
- Effectively prioritize incoming support tickets, coordinate and schedule with users, and provide cross-unit support as requested by supervisor.
