Position Summary
Primary purpose of this position: Responsible for the dispensing of chemicals and compounding of bulk product according to department SOP´s and batch record requirements. Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace while producing a quality product.
Essential Functions
- Basic weighing or measuring of materials, or products.
- Understand the continuous improvement process.
- Must be able to train and cross train less experienced compounders and cleaning technicians.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely on the batch record.
- Observe equipment operations so that abnormalities can be detected and escalate abnormalities timely and appropriately.
- Operation of simple equipment.
- Collect product samples and prepare them for laboratory analysis and testing.
- Cleaning of compounding equipment (tanks/pumps/utensils).
