Job title: Compounder - 2nd Shift
About the Role The Compounder performs all tasks necessary to keep product available for the production lines. This is a multi-functional role that includes mixing product, operating the line, checking quality, driving a forklift/handling material, and ensuring documentation and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Blends saline for production batches.
- Operates the automated saline syringe line.
- Completes batch records in compliance with GMPs.
- Meets production schedule and performance metrics.
- Sanitize production tanks and lines for manufacturing of a medical device.
- Operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Read, write, and understand English; basic math skills including fractional/decimal equations.
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift.
- Must be able to lift, reach, squat, push, and pull; lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willing to work in warm and cold environments.
- Technical aptitude is a plus.
- Must be able to operate a forklift, both sit-down and standing.
Nice to Have
- 1+ year of previous compounding/mixing/blending of batches.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $21.25 - $30.75 per hour.
- Benefits include health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week.
