Job title: Compliance Risk Supervisor
In this role, you serve as Compliance Risk Supervisor, working with the Compliance team to ensure adherence to conduct and integrity rules and actively contribute to protecting the bank's reputation.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate on the mapping of Compliance risks and maintain an up-to-date risk map.
- Support the development, analysis and challenging of the Compliance risk mapping with a critical mindset; identify, prioritize and document risks.
- Perform risk analyses, identify Compliance risks and conduct targeted monitoring controls; provide concrete recommendations and track their implementation with relevant departments.
- Supervise and collaborate with the first line, acting as a constructive partner to support, advise and critically assess; ensure high-quality controls, plan and execute independent controls, and implement corrective actions based on results with follow-up.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in economics or law or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with European and Belgian financial regulations regarding Compliance, especially in areas related to financial instruments and/or insurance.
- Relevant experience in internal control within the financial sector and/or Compliance.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to defend your point of view clearly and argumentatively; willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to summarize risks clearly and structurally; proactive, able to prioritize by risk and impact, and take ownership to advance dossiers.
- Communicative, dynamic and solution-oriented; enjoys collaboration to achieve solid results; able to reconcile stakeholders’ interests and propose feasible, compliant solutions.
- Nice to have: excellent knowledge of both Dutch and French with a good level of English.
Nice to Have
- Dutch and French bilingualism with English proficiency is a plus.
