About the Role Under the general supervision of the Director of Quality & Patient Safety, the Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the organization-wide healthcare compliance program, including appropriate policies and procedures to promote compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements. This role provides advice as requested to the hospital’s leadership team and other organization staff as a resource and content expert in the areas of corporate compliance, ethics, regulatory affairs, and related topics. The Compliance Coordinator orients new managers/directors on their role and responsibilities regarding the hospital’s Ethics and Compliance programs. What You'll Do
- Manage the organization-wide healthcare compliance program and related policies/procedures to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage Provider contracts in collaboration with Administration; review vendor contracts with Department Leadership to meet compliance standards.
- Assist with investigations resulting from internal referrals and corporate compliance hotline calls.
- Serve as a resource and subject-matter expert on corporate compliance, ethics, regulatory affairs, and related topics to hospital leadership and staff.
- Orient and train new managers/directors on their roles in Ethics and Compliance programs. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, administration, or finance (or higher)
- 2 years of regulatory compliance experience
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and contracts
- Ability to analyze issues and communicate effectively
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- English proficiency Nice to Have
