About this role
About the Role As Complex Claims Director, you will lead investigations and disposition of large, complex 3rd party property and casualty claims, applying deep technical expertise to drive favorable outcomes for clients and the company. What You'll Do
- Handle some of the largest, multimillion-dollar 3rd party property and casualty claims, including multi-vehicle auto accidents, plant explosions, class actions, and catastrophic product liability claims
- Review coverage under Excess Commercial General Liability and auto policies; participate in investigation and define litigation strategy
- Direct litigation, attend mediations and trials; assess liability and damages; recommend reserves; present cases to senior management
- Negotiate settlements with top plaintiff attorneys nationwide with appropriate authority; document thought process and strategy
