Location: Ockley Pay: £17.25 - £18.75 per hour Shifts: 10 pm - 7 am waking nights Driver required: Yes - full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child to support him to reach his full potential.
• The client has CHARGE syndrome and due to this the client has a multitude of impairments where you will deliver overnight care in line with the care plan which includes, care of the ventilated child, PEG feeds via mini-button for medication, hydration and nutrients, oral suctioning and oxygen administration.
• You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare London branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.

Qualifications

• What you’ll need Prior to the interview stage you need to have the following experience to be eligible:

• Experience working in a complex care setting.

• Experience with PEG feeds and administering medication via this method.

• Experience with suctioning.

• Experience of caring for children who non-verbal in nature, sign-supported and/or sensory communication.

• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.
