Job title: Completion Engineer
WAEP Completion Engineer Vacancy
Role Purpose Plan, design and support execution of safe, reliable and cost-effective well completion activities that deliver required production or injection performance throughout the well lifecycle.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Safe and timely delivery of assigned activities Compliance with planned maintenance/well execution schedules Quality and accuracy of technical documentation and reporting Reduction of operational downtime, failures or non-productive time as applicable HSE and regulatory compliance Effective contractor/stakeholder coordination
Key Responsibilities

Develop completion basis of design, programmes and detailed equipment specifications.

Design completion strings, tubing, packers, safety valves, sand-control and related completion systems. Perform completion engineering calculations and equipment selection in line with well objectives and operating envelopes.

Support completion installation, commissioning and handover activities. testing,

Participate in well integrity, completion risk and technical assurance reviews.

Coordinate vendors and service companies and monitor technical/service performance.

Support workover, recompletion and intervention opportunity evaluation.

Prepare cost estimates, schedules and technical inputs to procurement and contracting.

Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in completion performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.

8-12 years' relevant upstream completion/well engineering experience, including offshore operations.

IWCF/IADC well-control certification and release professional certification are desirable.
