Sepha Energies is seeking a highly qualified Company Secretary & Legal/Compliance Officer to join their team in Port Harcourt.
This role is critical for ensuring the company adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements within the dynamic energy sector, particularly concerning corporate governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage company secretarial duties and ensure compliance with CAMA.
- Provide expert legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts.
- Support Boards of Directors and senior executive management.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Advise on major commercial transactions, financing, and strategic partnerships.
Qualifications
- LL.B and B.L, and duly qualified to practice law in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 8 years post-call experience, with significant corporate and commercial legal experience.
- Strong experience in Company Secretarial practice, Corporate Governance, and Compliance.
- Demonstrable experience supporting Boards and senior executive management.
- Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation capabilities.
- Good knowledge of CAMA and relevant corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in the oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors is a strong advantage.
- Experience with major commercial transactions, financing, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships will be advantageous.
