About this role
Community Lead within Scotiabank's Workplace Operations team, responsible for delivering and continuously improving the workplace experience for employees, partners, and visitors across spaces in Canada. You will be the central point of contact onsite, ensuring a positive experience and operational sustainment while aligning with regulatory and policy standards.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact onsite, delivering a positive, exceptional employee and visitor experience.
- Manage communications across platforms (MS Teams, Viva Engage, Outlook) and report on campus/site capacity using centralized tools.
- Support onboarding/offboarding, including badges, parking, employee database management, and equipment distribution and recovery.
- Oversee space and amenity management via regular space and behavioral sweeps, restocking, and issue logging/resolution within SLAs.
- Represent the Workplace Operations team to employees; respond to operations inbox; align with team norms; back-up in other spaces as needed.
- Foster an inclusive environment, monitor space population communications, and coordinate with the finance work stream for accurate reporting; identify concerns and escalate as needed.
- Deliver orientation for new employees on activity-based working and meeting room technology; ensure meeting rooms meet workplace standards and troubleshoot as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in service delivery, continuous improvement, community management, and strong communication/relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple platforms (MS Teams, Viva Engage, Outlook) and space capacity reporting; comfortable interacting with employees, partners, and visitors.
- Demonstrated ability to support onboarding/offboarding and facilities-related operations in a regulated environment; compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify concerns and escalate to management.
