Job title: Community Conversations Host
About the Role Community Conversations is ConcordTV's original studio program that highlights the groups and individuals of Concord that help build a strong community. This role involves hosting or guest-hosting episodes, in coordination with the station's executive director and rotating guest hosts, to facilitate engaging conversations and showcase local stories on ConcordTV's platforms.
What You'll Do
- Host or co-host episodes of Community Conversations, guiding discussions and introducing guests.
- Coordinate with rotating guest hosts to plan topics and schedule recordings.
- Represent ConcordTV on-air and on ConcordTV's YouTube channel and public access channels; help engage the Concord community and invite diverse voices.
- Be prepared to contact potential guests and topics, and participate in the production process as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for community storytelling and a strong interest in Concord's groups and residents.
- Comfort speaking on camera and ability to facilitate thoughtful, respectful conversations with a range of guests.
- Reliable, professional, and able to collaborate with a small production team.
- Willingness to be a guest or host on Community Conversations and to engage with viewers.
Nice to Have
- Prior hosting, presenting, or media/production experience.
- Familiarity with Concord, NH community organizations and events.
- Experience with YouTube, podcasts, or public access media is a plus.
