Communications Officer at North-East Youth Initiative For Development (NEYIF)
NEYIF is a National Non-Governmental, Non for Profit, Humanitarian and Development Organization that promotes an all-inclusive society for all. NEYIF was established in 2013, with operational offices in North-East and North-West Nigeria, the office headquarters is in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement communication strategies and plans.
- Create and manage content for various communication channels (print, digital and social media).
- Support visibility and advocacy activities of the organization.
- Document and share success stories, photos and updates.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on communication matters.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field (with relevant experience).

At least 2 years' experience in communication, media or related field (NGO experience is an added advantage).

Strong writing, editing and content creation skills (print and digital).

Proficiency in social media management, graphic design and multimedia tools (photos/videos).

Good interpersonal and organizational skills.

Passion for Humanitarian and Development work, Peace Building/PCVE.
