Job Summary
- Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited is seeking a strategic, creative and results-driven Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of the Company's internal and external communications strategy.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening the Company's corporate identity, managing communication across key stakeholder groups, developing compelling content and ensuring consistent, timely and professional communication across all channels.
The Role
- The Communications Manager will serve as a key custodian of the Company's voice, reputation and corporate messaging.
- The role will work closely with Management, HR, Commercial, Operations and other business functions to translate business priorities into clear and impactful communication while ensuring that all communications align with the Company's values, brand standards and strategic objectives.
- The successful candidate must combine strong strategic communication skills with excellent writing, storytelling, digital communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Communications Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy aligned with the Company's business objectives.
- Develop annual and quarterly communication plans covering internal, external, digital and corporate communications.
- Establish communication standards, guidelines and protocols across the organisation.
- Identify communication opportunities that support business growth, employee engagement and corporate reputation.
- Monitor communication effectiveness and recommend improvements based on audience feedback and performance data.
Internal Communications:
- Lead the development of effective internal communication programmes across the organisation.
- Develop and manage internal communication channels, including email communications, newsletters, employee announcements, town halls, campaigns and other employee engagement platforms.
- Translate complex business information into clear, engaging and accessible messages for employees.
- Partner with HR to support employee engagement initiatives, organisational change, culture-building programmes and employer branding.
- Develop communication materials for Management meetings, employee forums, leadership engagements and corporate events.
- Ensure employees receive timely and accurate information on key organisational developments, policies, initiatives and business milestones.
External & Corporate Communications:
- Develop and manage external communications that strengthen the Company's corporate reputation.
- Prepare corporate announcements, press releases, speeches, corporate statements, articles, presentations and other communication materials.
- Manage communication with external stakeholders, including customers, partners, industry stakeholders, community groups and other relevant audiences.
- Support Management in communicating key corporate initiatives, achievements and strategic milestones.
- Develop corporate profiles, company presentations, fact sheets and other institutional communication materials.
- Coordinate external communication activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Media & Public Relations:
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with relevant media organisations and journalists.
- Coordinate media engagements, interviews, press briefings and corporate publicity opportunities.
- Prepare media statements, briefing notes, talking points and responses for Management.
- Monitor media coverage relating to the Company, its brands and relevant industry issues.
- Track public perception and identify potential reputational risks.
- Coordinate appropriate responses to media enquiries and emerging reputational issues.
