Canonical is seeking Communications and Storytelling Specialists focusing on narrative development across social media and content production. This remote role within the EMEA region supports brand positioning and ensures content aligns with business objectives. The role collaborates with Product Management, Alliances, Sales, and Marketing to communicate company news and manage Canonical's perception.
Develop and execute a content marketing strategy aligned with business goals, SEO and brand. Manage our content calendar end to end, ensuring content is produced with minimum friction and clear processes. Ensure content quality, consistency and brand alignment in everything we produce. Collaborate with our web team to optimize content for search and AI engines, building on proven SEO or GEO expertise. Monitor and report on KPIs for our content program and use analytics tools to identify improvement opportunities. Align messaging to ensure integrated campaign support across channels, working closely with our marketing, product and brand teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and work across cross-functional teams. Familiarity with communications and cross-functional collaboration. Process discipline, leadership skills and a performance-driven approach to ensure content aligns with business objectives. Passion for technology, technology marketing and the use of technology in marketing. Interest in translating strategy into impact, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
