About the Role The Communications and Digital Media Senior Advisor will shape and execute the firm’s external and internal communications strategy. This role focuses on enhancing the firm’s visibility, reinforcing brand reputation, and amplifying thought leadership through dynamic digital content and multi-channel campaigns aligned with strategic priorities. The ideal candidate is a digitally fluent, creative storyteller who is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing digital platforms, media relations, and firm-wide communications with precision and strategic intent. What You'll Do
- Develop and implement an integrated digital media strategy that aligns with the firm’s brand and business development objectives.
- Manage the firm’s website with timely updates and optimization (SEO, AIO, SGO, VEO, E-E-A-T) and publish engaging content across practice areas and industries.
- Create and curate high-quality content for digital channels—including social media, newsletters, video, and blog posts—to showcase the firm’s Partners and Associates.
- Lead social media strategy across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube; drive engagement, brand consistency, and professional visibility.
- Produce digital campaigns to promote legal updates, events, awards, and rankings.
- Draft, edit, and distribute firm announcements and press releases; cultivate relationships with legal and business media; manage press interactions.
- Monitor media coverage and industry developments to identify opportunities for positive exposure.
- Support internal communications across the firm’s three offices (Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt); develop and manage newsletters and leadership communications.
- Ensure consistency of the firm’s brand voice and visual identity across digital and offline channels; collaborate with external vendors for collateral.
- Track, analyze, and report on performance of digital campaigns; use insights to optimize engagement and reach; assist in budgeting for PR activities. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
- Digital fluency with strong storytelling, proactive, detail‑oriented; skilled at managing digital platforms, media relations, and firm‑wide communications with precision and strategic intent.
- Experience in digital media strategy, content creation, social media management, and media relations within a professional services or legal environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and collaboration across multiple offices.
