About the Role As a Commodity Manager, you will develop and lead sourcing strategies for Americas Direct Material Electrical commodities in a global environment. Your strategies will support key supply chain initiatives including cost containment, regionalization, trade working capital improvement, on time delivery, and quality performance. Clear communication to large cross-functional groups is essential.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that enhance supply assurance and flexibility.
- Lead cost containment and inflation forecasting for current and future years.
- Establish goals to improve working capital, including optimized payment terms, reduced inventory, and shorter lead times.
- Build capacity plans and regionalization roadmaps for all components within the commodity.
