Commissioning & Maintenance HVAC Superintendent

About the Role The Commissioning & Maintenance HVAC Superintendent leads the on-site execution of HVAC mechanical works for the NFPS EPC3 project at Karimun Yard, Indonesia. You will organize, coordinate and control activities across subcontractors and direct hires, manage interfaces with construction disciplines and engineering, and ensure readiness of materials and equipment in line with project documentation and schedule. You will also ensure safety and quality compliance and support planning for commissioning and start-up activities. What You'll Do

• Organise, coordinate and control the execution of the mechanical works, including subcontractors and direct hires.
• Manage interfaces with construction disciplines and engineering departments; oversee availability of construction materials and equipment; verify works against project documentation and schedule.
• Ensure full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures; support the HSE Manager; actively participate in safety walkdowns and incident investigations as needed.
• Verify that Commissioning & Start-up requirements are accounted in engineering documents; take part in project planning and scheduling; review Vendors' schedule for commissioning, start-up and test runs.
• Follow-up of completions and commissioning activities; issue progress reports within area of responsibility.
• Contribute to planning and scheduling of the Maintenance Plan; assign resources, materials and logistics; oversee preventive, condition-based and corrective maintenance through the team.
• Coordinate Vendors on site within own operating area; approve work orders as per Permit to Work procedure to enable scheduled works.
• Ensure correct mechanical isolation control through the Blinding and De-blinding Register; lead training of personnel and report gaps; optimize Maintenance Plan based on plant feedback. What We're Looking For
• Experience in commissioning and maintenance of HVAC systems on large-scale industrial projects.
• Ability to organize, coordinate and manage interfaces across construction and engineering teams; strong planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements, safety walkdowns and incident investigation processes.
• Experience with planning and executing maintenance plans (Preventive, Condition Based, and Corrective).
• Experience coordinating Vendors on site; able to approve work orders per Permit to Work.
• Familiarity with mechanical isolation control, including Blinding/De-blinding procedures.
• Leadership and training capabilities; ability to develop personnel and address gaps. Nice to Have
