Commercial Project Manager

What are we looking for

At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Commercial Project Manager located in Coral Gables, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

What you will do

The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for supporting the overall Cosentino organization in moving sold projects through the post-sale process and through fabrication and installation. This is a complex role, managing 10+ $250,000 (+/-) projects at various phases of completion. The Commercial Project Manager is extremely detail-oriented, able to follow through, and can deal with multiple inputs proactively:

• Monitor the execution of projects by supervising staff, ensuring projects meet deadlines, and capturing project information and changes.
• Create true and accurate submittals and manage them through approval.
• Process changes orders submittals: this includes pricing changes via redline or email, design changes, revisions and managing them with the Stone Systems accounting team.
• Manage RFIs and changes promptly and accurately.
• Work closely with the Cosentino Architect & Design (A&D) team, receiving direction from the Cosentino A&D Director at times and providing updates when applicable.
• Manage customer contracts, project delivery setup, as well as customer schedules, blueprints, and sold information.
• Manage the daily installation schedule.
• Tracking compliance needs and execution on time.
• Responsible for measuring at the job site and doing shop drawings as needed, along with organizing unit install drawings with unit packages for job site instruction
• Conduct cross-functional meetings at key waypoints during the life of each project
• Conduct weekly post-sale status updates for the location
• Responsible for adding notes to the Salesforce as milestones or important events take place that the entire Cosentino team needs to know.
• Gather and capture project information on a timely and daily basis.
• Work in direct contact with job super daily and report to the Centers General Manager

What you need to succeed

EXPERIENCE

Desired:

• 2-3 years in multifamily construction or stone/quartz fabrication & installation preferred.
• Knowledge and experience reading blueprints are required.

EDUCATION

Desired:

• An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Sales Prep, or Operations Management is preferred but not required.

• KNOWLEDGE

Required:

• Strong desire to be a leader in growing the Cosentino Commercial business.

• Excellent communication skills, writing and verbal.

• Team player

• Must have a strong sense of urgency and commitment to excellence.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Ability to multitask.

• Project management skills to be sure that deadlines are met Customer-oriented.

Wage Range:

• The annual Starting salary for this position is between $70,000 and $80,000 annually + 10% Bonus.
• Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
• This position is also eligible Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.

You will also be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) Retirement Plan, starting the first of the month.

Paid time off:

• Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company’s policy updates. 5 days of sick time. Full-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each year. If hired after July 1, employees receive 1 floating holiday to use for that calendar year.
