Your new team

As Commercial Finance Analyst, EU you will join the EU&I Commercial Finance team, based in our Belgrade EBS hub. You will report to the Finance Commerce Manager or Director and work closely with finance and commercial stakeholders across our European markets.

The team supports business decision-making by providing reliable reporting, meaningful financial insights, and a consistent view of commercial performance across our local brands.

This is a highly collaborative, international environment where most interactions take place virtually, alongside occasional in-person contact with finance and commercial colleagues.

Key focus areas of your role

  • Prepare periodic actuals reporting and support annual budget and forecast cycles.
  • Track commercial benefits and initiatives, including sourcing savings and merchandising value delivered.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial and operational data from multiple internal sources to support accurate and consistent reporting.
  • Perform actuals-versus-budget analyses and identify the key drivers behind financial variances.
  • Analyze internal data to provide insights into price, volume, mix, margins, and cost-price developments.
  • Support external market and commodity price analysis in collaboration with Sourcing Intelligence.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and self-service reporting tools for finance and commercial stakeholders.
  • Translate business questions into clear analytical requirements and provide actionable, data-based insights.
  • Work closely with EU finance teams, sourcing, merchandising, and IT to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency.
  • Support the improvement and automation of reporting processes, analytical tools, and financial data quality.
  • Help business users interpret financial information and use reporting tools effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial governance principles, controls, and relevant regulatory requirements.

The ingredients you bring

Everyone brings their unique flavor. We believe this role comes to life when you bring the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • One to three years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, controlling, or business analytics.
  • Recent graduates with strong internship experience in finance or analytics are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting cycles, periodic reporting, and actuals-versus-budget variance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and complex formulas.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and confidence in presenting financial information clearly.
  • Fluent business English, both written and spoken, due to daily collaboration across European markets.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recurring reporting cycles under deadline pressure.
  • A structured and proactive approach, with confidence working with large, multi-brand datasets.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect finance and commercial stakeholders across different markets.

The following would be considered an advantage:

  • Experience in retail, FMCG, commercial finance, or a multinational finance/shared-service environment.
  • Exposure to cost-price, margin, sourcing, procurement, or merchandising-related metrics.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query, dashboard development, or report automation.
  • Familiarity with commodity or market-price data sources.
  • Basic experience with EPM or OneSource reporting tools.
